I am so excited to be teaching writing at RLMS! A bit of information about me: I graduated from Baylor University, and I have been in education for twenty years at the middle school, high school, and collegiate levels.  

This year I want to help you fall in love with amazing literature and become authors of authentic writing.  I strive for my lessons to be engaging, fun, thought-provoking, and challenging.  

I promise to treat you with respect and to offer encouragement.  I have high expectations, but they are washed with grace.  Please communicate with me any questions or concerns or triumphs.  I’m so excited about getting to know you!  #theHerd
