It has been my pleasure to join the Red Lick Middle School Family in 2022-2023!

I graduated right here from our hometown Texas A&M University-Texarkana and have been a teacher for over 14 years. I've taught all grades from Preschool to High School at different points in my career. I'm so happy to say I have settled on middle school and I love what I do at Red Lick!

I am currently the 6th grade reading and writing teacher here at the middle school. I am also the UIL Spelling coach and am a leader of House Altruismo , The House of Givers!

Finally, I am married to Coach Starnes, who also works here at the middle school. My youngest son Jared is a student here as well, and we love being in the Mustang Family together. I also have two adult sons, Jonathan and Josiah who still live here in the area.
