The Lady Mustangs hit the court for their first home game of the season on Monday night as they hosted the Maud Cardinals. Both the 7th and 8th grade teams delivered dominant performances to keep their early-season momentum rolling.

7th Grade Girls

Red Lick 51 — Maud 2

The 7th grade Lady Mustangs played with confidence in their first home appearance of the season, finding their rhythm early and working together throughout the game. Aubree Castle led the way with 21 points, while Paisley York added 16. Sofia Carrillo and Jaimie Irby contributed 6 points each, and Lorelei DePriest added 2.

The teamwork was outstanding as the girls moved the ball well, made sharp, unselfish passes, and supported each other throughout the game. York and Irby each recorded multiple assists, keeping the offense flowing and creating great scoring opportunities. It was a strong, connected performance that highlighted their growing chemistry and energy on the court.

8th Grade Girls

Red Lick 30 — Maud 11

The 8th graders continued the winning streak with a strong 30–11 victory. Sy Endsley paced the team with 14 points, while Sadie Heiner, Ashlynn Irby, and Ryann McNiel each scored 4. Alexis Burns and Elise Thomson added 2 points apiece.

The Lady Mustangs’ defense was a major factor once again, applying steady pressure and forcing Maud into tough shots and turnovers. On offense, the girls showed patience and good decision-making, moving the ball and finding the open player. Every Lady Mustang contributed to the effort, whether through scoring, rebounding, or defensive stops. It was a well-played game that demonstrated the team’s poise, hustle, and commitment to playing together.

The Lady Mustangs will be back in action on the road Monday, December 8, 2025, at Pewitt. Come support these teams as they continue their strong start to the season!
