Girls Basketball

The Lady Mustangs traveled to Harts Bluff last night, with both the 7th and 8th grade teams competing in hard-fought district matchups.

7th Grade Girls

Red Lick 12 — Harts Bluff 7

The 7th grade Lady Mustangs faced a tough Harts Bluff team and came away with a hard-earned 12–7 victory. The game was physical and tightly contested, but the Lady Mustangs stayed composed to secure the win.

Aubree Castle and Jaimie Irby led the scoring with 3 points each. Sofia Carrillo, Lorelei DePriest, and Paisley York each added 2 points to round out the scoring. Strong defensive pressure and teamwork played a key role in holding Harts Bluff to single digits.

8th Grade Girls

Harts Bluff 15 — Red Lick 8

The 8th grade Lady Mustangs battled throughout the game but came up short in a 15–8 loss. Despite the final score, the girls showed effort, resilience, and determination on both ends of the floor.

Sy Endsley led the Lady Mustangs with 4 points, while Brynlee Brush and Ryann McNiel each added 2. The team continued to compete defensively and worked hard to create scoring opportunities against a tough opponent.

The Lady Mustangs will be back in action at home on January 8, 2026, against Rivercrest. The 7th grade tips off at 5:00 PM, followed by the 8th grade game. Come out and support your Lady Mustangs!
